Lower Case Kanye

Kirsten told me that she is going to get a toddler bed for her daughter. The purchase is a long overdue one, since her daughter is three in a half and still sleeping in a crib. I had no need to ask her what took her so long because I already knew. Money was a commodity for my friend, and she could only purchase the toddler bed when the budget allowed.

What Kirsten does not know is that I am going to pay for the toddler bed for her. I am going to make her think she is paying for it herself, but she will be in for a big surprise when she gets up to the counter. I am going to whip out my wallet, and I will let her know that I will be taking care of the purchase. She will most certainly be happy when I do that. I cannot wait to make my friend’s day. That woman really deserves to be happy.

My mother is a second grade teacher and she is getting her classroom into shape to begin the upcoming school year.  She loves going back to work each year at this time and really gets into creating a wonderful environment for the kids in her classroom.  She purchased a number of cute, fun items for her class, including some kid-sized couches, lounge chairs, and rugs.  She also found a fantastic toy box at a yard sale that will work perfectly in her classroom to help organize some of home living toys that they use.  She has picked out a beautiful fabric and is currently making a cushion to fit the top of the toy box and make it into a cozy, comfy seat for her students.  The kids in her class are lucky to have her as their teacher!
